Markings:The left side of the receiver is marked “INTERORDANCE OF AMERICA MONROE NC” and ” M59/66 YUGOSLAVIA 7.62×39.” Serial number “K410760” is marked on the receiver, magazine housing, trigger guard, and buttstock. Additional factory markings include “K-410760” on the bottom magazine is “SL-4-00.000”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post, and the rear sight is a leaf-style adjustable elevation sight. Additionally, this rifle comes with a ZRAK ON-M89 7.62 scope. The scope is mountable using a robust side rail system and features elevation and windage adjustment knobs clearly marked for right/left and up/down movement. The optics are clear, and the scope appears in very good condition with minimal handling marks. The scope is serialized “9201124” and retains its original radioactive calibration markings, denoting precision Yugoslavian military manufacture. Also included are grenade launcher sights, marked from 50 to 270 yards.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a two-piece wood stock with a handguard. It has an attached blade bayonet, with cut out in stock, and cleaning rod. The stock shows moderate wear with scattered nicks, scratches, and finish loss, consistent with military service. There is a rectangle cut out under the side scope side mount base. The sling swivels are intact, and a green fabric sling is attached. The LOP (Length of Pull) measures approximately 12 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stock rates in about Good + condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: The rifle has a 10-round fixed internal magazine, in very good condition, with standard wear consistent with moderate use.

Bore Condition: The chrome bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp and well-defined. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its original metal finish. The finish shows thinning at the high edges, light handling marks, and some mild wear consistent with use. There is minor patina throughout. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle is accompanied by an attached sling and the ZRAK ON-M89 7.62 scope with its side mounting system. Oil cleaner in pouch on sling, and cleaning tool in buttstock compartment, and scope bag with scope paperwork and scope cleaning tools.
Our Assessment: The Zastava M59/66 SKS is a rugged, reliable, and well-built rifle that served in the Yugoslavian military. This particular rifle is in good working order, with strong mechanics and a bright bore. The inclusion of the ZRAK ON-M89 scope enhances its collectability, as these scopes were precision-made for military applications and are highly sought after by enthusiasts.
