Markings: The top of the slide is marked “5B1211” a star and “1940”. The left side of the frame is marked “ 5B1211” a star and “1940”. The grips are marked, “CCCP” with stars. All numbers matching including the magazine.
Barrel Length: 4.5”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a u-notch dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece ribbed plastic panels. There are minor pressure dents and scratches. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Very Good condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One matching numbers 8rd magazines in Very Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright and the rifling is sharp. There is faint erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10 for a C&R.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 85-90% of its metal finish. There is thinning and scratches throughout the finish, typical of a battle weapon of this vintage. There is some corrosion on the right side of the slide at the muzzle. The screw heads are sharp and pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. There is a manual thumb safety added to the left side of the frame upon import.

Our Assessment: The TT-33 was produced during WWII into the early 1950’s. The Soviet TT-33 was chambered in 7.62 x 25. This pistol will make a great addition to any WWII collection or just a fun pistol to take to the range.
