Our Assessment: The Russian Model 91/30 Mosin Nagant rifle is a bolt-action rifle that was developed by Russian firearms designers Sergei Mosin and Léon Nagant in the late 19th century. The 91/30 model was introduced in 1930 and served as the standard infantry rifle for the Soviet Union during World War II and beyond. The Mosin Nagant rifle features a 5-round internal magazine and fires the 7.62x54R cartridge. The rifle has a long service life and is known for its durability and reliability. It was widely used by the Soviet Union and its allies during World War II and saw action in numerous conflicts throughout the 20th century.
This Russian Mosin Nagant Model 91/30 was made at the Tula Arsenal in 1939. This WWII rifle has been arsenal refurbished and is in Great shape. This Mosin’s original serial number matches on the numbered parts, but some were force matched during refurbishment. This Mosin has a PU Russian sniper scope mounted on the left side of the receiver. The scope is marked “91/30 / N7 45477”. It appears to be a well made faithful reproduction and is in nice condition. Many Mosins were cobbled together by the importers with spare parts. This Mosin is not an original PU Sniper, but is still a great piece of well preserved history that would go well in any Mosin, WWII, or Sniper collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
