Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER ® MODEL 94AE XTR CAL. 307 WIN. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL.” The serial number “AE12370” is marked on the bottom of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded brass beaded blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable semi-buckhorn notch sight dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a two-piece checkered walnut stock with a straight wrist, raised comb, and a red rubber Winchester buttpad. The wood shows only minor handling marks, with strong checkering and no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only faint handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
