Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade with a protective hood, dovetailed onto a ramped base. The rear sight is a “U”-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel, fine-adjustable for elevation. The receiver is slotted for optic mounts (none included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut featuring a banded forend, straight grip, straight comb and checkered black polymer Winchester buttplate. The stocks have no notable wear or damage, just a few light handling marks. The checkering is sharp with no interruptions. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has light handling marks and sharp checkering. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, this bore rates a 9 or 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no notable wear or damage, just some light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a serial-matched Winchester cardboard box, an instruction manual and a locking device with keys.
Our Assessment: This is a Winchester 9422M based, of course, on the company’s tried and true Model 94 Lever Action carbine. A trapper version, this 9422 is chambered for the .22 magnum (WMR) cartridges. The action has to be felt to understand, with a flick of the wrist, you’ve already got another round chambered. This particular rifle is part of an exclusive offering made for CDNN Sports of Abilene, Texas who ordered 500 each of standard and Trapper versions of the 9422 in .22 L/LR and WMR each (4 series total) for their customers.
This rifle appears to be #246 of the Trapper .22 WMR series and has been preserved in Excellent condition. Definitely a wonderful addition to yours or ANY Winchester collection (preferably yours)! Good luck in your bidding!
