Markings:  The left of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 94 30-30 WIN / WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A.” .  The top of the barrel at the rear has an ovalled “WP” proof. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number at the front.

Barrel Length: 20”

Sights / Optics:   The front sight is brass beaded post dovetailed to a serrated ramp that is screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch leaf with a ramp dovetailed to the barrel.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece smooth wood with a banded forend, straight  grip, straight comb, and checkered  buttplate. There are light compression marks and scratches throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13.25? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stocks are in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.   In the opinion of the writer the bore rates 9/10 for a C&R.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light marks including a few scratches on the barrel and mag tube. There is finish loss on the leading edges. The action shows moderate operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are Sharp. Overall, this rifle is in about Very Good condition for a C&R.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly.  We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards
