Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 70 has long been a staple among American sportsmen, a great example of Winchester’s design and craftsmanship, well deserving of its moniker “The Rifleman’s Rifle”. This example was made in 1964 and is chambered for the .264 Winchester Magnum cartridge. The combination makes for a great rifle for multiple roles including target shooting and/or putting food on the table. This Winchester is in great shape and should be a great shooter or addition to your collection. Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!
