Choke: Both barrels are threaded for accepting different chokes. The right barrel has a modified choke. The left barrel has an improved cylinder choke.
Action Type: Side by SIde double barrel break open.
Markings: The left barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 23 CUSTOM 12 GA WINCHESTER 2 ¾” & 3” / EAST ALTON IL USA” The right barrel is marked “MADE IN JAPAN” The barrel flats are marked “012393” The water table is marked with winchester proof marks.
Barrel Length: 27”.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead fixed to the top of the ventilated rib, the rear sight is a smaller white bead mounted to the middle of the rib. The rib is serrated to reduce glare while aiming.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a 2 piece wood stock. Neutral cast Straight comb, rubber buttpad, checkered semi pistol grip, checkered forend, the LOP is 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are light scratches on the stock and forend, There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in Very Good Condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the barrels. The bores rate 10/10
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are scratches on both barrels, trigger guard and receiver. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
