Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set on a base. The rear sight is a leaf and elevator sight in a dovetail slot.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are original finish pieces, with no cracks and only one or two chips. The finish is about 75%. The age is natural and the wood is quite attractive, despite the honest wear. The LOP measures 13 7/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the Winchester hard rubber plate. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is dirty but will clean to bright and the rifling is sharp. There is only mild erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 75% of its metal finish. There is thinning at the edges, a light drift to patina and very scattered surface freckling. This a better than average rifle. The screw heads are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
