Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 01 10 GA.” and “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PAT. FEB.16.86. JULY.20.86. DEC.14.86. AUG.31.97. / FULL” The underside of the receiver is stamped with the serial number “75970.” The top tang is marked “REG IN US PAT OFF WINCHESTER TRADE MARK” The top of the barrel is marked with a Winchester proof as well as a “P” in an oval, indicating that the barrel was replaced outside of the factory.
Barrel Length: 32″ The barrel is not original to this shotgun.
Choke: Fixed, Full choke.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass bead mounted on the barrel. The top of the receiver has a groove.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is in a 2 piece wood configuration featuring a straight comb, stell buttplate, prince of whales grip and smooth forend. The LOP is 13 ? inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are light scratches on the stock. There are no cracks or chips. The stock has been refinished. The stock rates in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is light erosion and pitting in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 65% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear including light scratches and handling marks, as well as light patina in places on the barrel. There is some light surface rust and freckling. The screwheads are sharp. The markings are clear. This shotgun rates in Good overall condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
