Our Assessment: This is a Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine made in 1926 and chambered in .32-20 Winchester. This rifle is in Good condition so it looks nice for its age given that it’s more than 110 years old. This vintage rifle has seen nearly all of the 20th Century and will still make a nice addition to a collection in the 21st. The .32-20 is still a very viable small game, fur bearing, and trapping cartridge. This 1892 carbine will make a great addition to a Winchester collection missing an 1892 and may also be a good candidate for restoration. Please see our photos and good luck on your bid! – L.S.
