Choke: The barrels are threaded for Invector-Plus chokes with Full and Modified installed, Improved Cylinder included.
Sights / Optics: There is a brass bead at the front of the rib and a smaller white mid-bead. The top of the rib is serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered maple featuring a finger-grooved forend, capped semi-pistol grip, a fluted straight comb and a black rubber Winchester buttpad. The stocks have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The drop at the comb is 1 3/4”. The drop at the heel is 2 1/2”. The stocks are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a red cardboard Winchester box with serial-matching label, the additional choke and factory paperwork including manual.
Our Assessment: The iconic Model 101 is a shotgun with legendary styling and handling and the unquestionable reliability you expect from Winchester firearms. While the original 101 line was discontinued in the late 1980s, it was reintroduced in the early 2000s with production in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale. This example is the Deluxe Field Maple with gorgeous AAA maple stocks, gloss blue finish and beautiful fowl scenes engraved on the receiver. This gun looks like it’s spent more time in its original box than out, showing signs of little if any use. This gorgeous gun is equally suited to the range or the field.
