Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn square notch elevator sight that is dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are 2-piece smooth walnut with capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel crescent buttplate. There are scattered compression lines. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There is some minor handling wear and a few light compression dents. There are no chips or cracks. Overall this stock is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. It appears that this rifle was not fired outside of the factory. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some minor box and handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. Tang Safety and Rebounding Hammer. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Winchester Miroku Model 1892 Grade 1 is a modern Japanese-manufactured reproduction of the classic Winchester 1892 lever-action rifle, produced between 2004–2006 and chambered in .45 Colt. The 24 1/4″ round barrel, tubular magazine, smooth walnut stocks, capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel crescent buttplate give it a traditional long rifle profile rather than a carbine configuration. It retains classic open sighting equipment, including a brass bead front sight and semi-buckhorn elevator rear sight, while also incorporating modern safety features such as a tang safety and rebounding hammer.
Condition is Excellent overall, with the rifle retaining approximately 98% of its original blued finish. The metal shows only minor handling and box wear, while the screw heads remain sharp and the markings are clear. The walnut stock set is also in Excellent condition, showing only light handling marks, shallow compression lines, and no chips or cracks. The relatively long 24 1/4″ barrel configuration combined with clean finish retention gives the rifle a strong, well-preserved presentation consistent with light use or careful storage.
The bore is outstanding, remaining bright with sharp rifling and no erosion, rating 10/10 in this writer’s opinion and showing no evidence of meaningful use outside of factory test firing. Mechanically, the action functions correctly, with both tang safety and rebounding hammer operating as intended, though the rifle has not been test fired by us. As with any used firearm, a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended before use. Overall, this is a highly attractive Winchester Miroku 1892 Grade 1 in .45 Colt, offering excellent bore condition, strong finish retention, classic lever-action styling, and very good collector or shooter appeal, especially in this longer-barrel configuration.
