Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the top of the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable square notch buckhorn elevator sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a 2 piece walnut stock, straight comb, steel buttplate, smooth straight grip, and smooth forend. The LOP is 13.5” From the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are light scratches in the stock and forend. There are no cracks. The stock rates in Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are scratches on the receiver and barrel. The screwheads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This Miroku Winchester Model 1886 is a limited run of the classic Winchester 1886 rifle. The Winchester Model 1886 was a lever-action repeating rifle designed by John Browning to handle some of the more powerful cartridges of the period. Originally chambered in .45-70 Government, .45-90 Sharps, and .40-82 Winchester, it was later offered in a half dozen other large cartridges, including the .50-110 Winchester. Despite being originally designed for use with black powder, the action was strong enough to make the jump to smokeless powder with only minor modifications, and was subsequently chambered in the smokeless .33 Winchester cartridge beginning in 1903.This rifle is chambered for.45-90 Black powder cartridges. This is a modern rifle that honors the traditional Winchester rifle. This Winchester 1886 is in very good condition and has a lifetime of use left in it.
