Our Assessment: This Winchester M1 Garand was made back in 1944. At some point the rifle was rebuilt & refinished so it looks great for its age. The rifle still uses Winchester marked parts (the barrel marking is not visible). The rifle comes with a sling and cleaning gear so you can take it out to the range as soon as you get some .30-06 ammo. This is a good looking M1 Garand that can do tons of work at the range. Good luck.
