Mechanics: The action functions correctly, 240112TI006 has a trigger lock attached. We did not fire this firearm. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: 240112TI005-008 have corresponding matching Winchester styrofoam boxes with Boy Scouts of America Commemorative motif slip covers. These slip covers are in Good – Good Plus condition.

Our Assessment: These four rifles are part of the Winchester Boy Scouts of America Commemorative line for their 75th Anniversary in 1985. All rifles are consecutive serial numbers starting with 1799 and ending in 1802. The Winchester 9422 XTR is a very utilitarian rifle, being that it is chambered in .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle and having a 20 and a half inch barrel. The rifles have several boy scout motifs of camping, chopping wood and the scout hand sign. Around the borders are the scout motto, oath, slogan and law. These are all in Excellent condition and appear that they have not had much time out of their boxes. If you were a Boy Scout or know of a Scout Troop that needs their smallbore target shooting merit badges, this lot of 9422s is for you. Please see our photos and good luck!
