Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with a tritium lamp and is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch lo-mount style sight with two tritium lamps and is dovetailed and screw set to the slide. The lamps glow in low-light conditions.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood panels with Wilson medallions. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some scattered light handling and storage marks. There is some very light operational wear. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide-to-frame fit has no play. The trigger pull is light and crisp with a very nice reset. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol included a grey Wilson Combat range bag, paperwork including the manual, a bushing wrench, a cable lock, a bottle of Wilson Combat oil, and two 8-round magazines.

This pistol, The Wilson Combat Protector is an excellent example of why they have earned this reputation. Wilson Combat has combined the most desired upgrades including front and back strap checkering, extended beavertail grip safety, beveled magazine well, extended ambidextrous thumb safety, night sights, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and a match-grade barrel. They combined all of these features with their legendary craftsmanship quality. The type of quality that makes this an excellent defensive pistol to which you can trust your life. This pistol is in Excellent condition, with a great bore and sound action. If you’ve been looking to get a premium-quality 1911, you can’t do much better than this.
