Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with two tritium lamps dovetailed and screw-set to the rear of the slide. The lamps no longer glow in low-no light conditions and still can function as a three-dot sight system in daylight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece black G10 Starburst pattern scales with Wilson Combat Medallions in their centers. The pattern is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Also included are two-piece checkered wood Panel grips with Wilson’s medallions in their centers. The grips have only a few scattered minor marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, these grips are in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light operational wear. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide has no play to the frame but slides smoothly. The trigger is light and crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a gray nylon Wilson Combat zipper case with an assortment of factory paperwork including manual and a total of five 8-round magazines. Also included the extra grips, a cable lock, a bushing wrench, a Wilson Combat cleaning kit, and two bottles of Wilson Combat gun oil.  The case has two zipper pockets on one side and a velcro-flap over seven magazine pouches on the other side with a center zipper compartment for the pistol. The case shows little to no wear with intact stitching and functioning zippers, in Excellent condition. The magazines show faint operational wear with intact feed lips and strong springs, in about Excellent condition.

Our Assessment: Wilson Combat has long been known as one of the best manufacturers of custom and semi-custom 1911s in the world. This pistol is an excellent example of why they have earned this reputation. Wilson has combined the most desired upgrades including front and rear slide serrations, front and backstrap checkering, flat mainspring housing, extended beavertail grip safety, and skeletonized hammer and trigger with their legendary craftsmanship quality. This CQB is a Light Rail model, having a rail for a light integral to its steel frame. It is in Excellent condition with about 99% of the finish remaining and comes with just about everything it would brand new. The quality of this pistol makes it an excellent target pistol as well as a defensive pistol to which you can trust your life.  Please see our photos and good luck with your bidding.
