Our Assessment: The Wilkinson Arms Linda is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, manufactured by Wilkinson Arms Corporation in the United States. Introduced in the 1980s, the Linda gained attention for its unique design and features.
Despite its innovative design, the Linda faced some challenges in terms of ergonomics and handling. Some users found the trigger pull to be heavy and the overall balance of the pistol to be less than optimal. Additionally, the bullpup layout required shooters to become accustomed to its unique handling characteristics.
While the Wilkinson Arms Linda did not achieve widespread commercial success, it remains an intriguing piece of firearm history due to its unconventional design and attempt to offer a compact and high-capacity handgun option. Today, it is sought after by collectors and enthusiasts interested in unique firearms from the 1980s era. -R.E.
