PALM BEACH FL” The barrel flats are marked “CAL .20/76 / G00079B” and proof marks. The inside of the forend is marked “G00079B” The left and right side of the frame is marked “WEBLEY & SCOTT” The bottom of the frame is marked W&S 720” The water table is marked with proof marks. The buttplate is marked with the Webley & Scott Logo. The frame is covered in Laser engraving.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a 2 piece walnut checkered forend and fluted straight comb right hand cast buttstock, checkered straight grip, and serrated wood buttplate.There are a few light scratches on the wood. The stock rates in Very Good Overall Condition.

Bore Condition:  The bores are bright. There is some erosion in the bore. There is In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operation/handling wear.There are a few light scratches on the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings range from sharp and legible to illegible. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: In 1897 P Webley & Son amalgamated with W & C Scott & Sons , forming The Webley & Scott Revolver & Arms Company of Birmingham and 78 Shaftesbury Avenue, London. Up until the mid 1920’s guns were produced as either Webley & Scott or W & C Scott models. Production of Webley & Scott Shotguns continued up until 1978 at which time a seperate company, W&C Scott( Gunmakers) Limited was formed and in 1985 was bought by Holland and Holland.

world using blending fine craftsmanship and the latest technology to give quality guns at a good value price
