Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “2625” and the Webley winged bullet logo. The right side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The right side of the barrel is marked with three crowned British proof marks, “.22LR”, and “22 RIM FIRE LONG RIFLE”. The left side of the frame is marked “WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD / BIRMINGHAM” and with a “crown / BV” proof mark towards the bottom. The butt of the grip has an inlay marked “WEBLEY / REGD / TRADE MARK”.
Barrel Length: 9 7/8”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a patridge style blade that is fixed to the top of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch blade that is fully adjustable and is screwed to the top of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece checkered walnut with a thumb shelf on the left side. The grip shows no significant wear or damage and the checkering is sharp and deep. There are no chips or cracks. The grip rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The barrel shows some scattered hardly noticeable marks. There are small spots of thinned finish on the sides of the receiver. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel has an extractor that operates when the action is opened. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original box with a sight adjustment tool and instructions.
Our Assessment: This is a rare Tip-Up Target Pistol from Webley & Scott. This pistol was manufactured from 1909 up until around the 1950s. The action is operated by pulling down on the rear of the trigger guard. The barrel is equipped with a shell extractor that operates when the action is opened. This pistol is in fantastic shape, retaining approximately 97 percent of its original finish. It also comes in its original box with a rear sight tool and instructions.
