Our Assessment: Weatherby’s Mark V has long stood as the company’s flagship bolt-action rifle, built around a strong action and closely associated with Weatherby’s high-velocity magnum cartridges. The Accumark variant was designed as a more weather-resistant, precision-oriented hunting rifle, pairing a composite H-S Precision stock with a distinctive fluted barrel configuration. This example is chambered in .338-378 Weatherby Magnum, a powerful long-range magnum cartridge intended for serious big-game hunting and extended-distance performance. This rifle features a 26″ two-tone stainless barrel with blued flutes, measuring 28″ with the matching-number radial muzzle brake installed, H-S Precision fiberglass stock, Kahles 3-9×42 scope with BDC reticle and flip-up covers, sling, and bipod. The Accumark configuration, strong Mark V action, premium H-S Precision stock, quality Kahles optic, and potent .338-378 chambering should appeal to buyers looking for a serious long-range hunting rifle or a high-performance Weatherby magnum package.
