Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Weatherby / 7mm MAGNUM”. The receiver is marked “MARK V / U.S. PATENT NO. 3091555” and “Weatherby / SOUTH GATE, CALIF.” The right side of the barrel near the receiver is marked “MADE IN W. GERMANY.” The serial number “P58073” is marked on the right side of the receiver. The buttplate is marked “TRADE / WEATHERBY / MARK V / GUN WORKS / LOS ANGELES / CALIFORNIA, U.S.A.”

Sights / Optics: The rifle is equipped with a mounted Bushnell Scopechief IV 2.5x-8x variable power scope. The scope has clear glass, a duel reticle, and external markings that remain sharp. The scope tube exhibits some minor handling marks.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a smooth hardwood Monte Carlo style with pistol grip. a right-handed cheekpiece, and a Weatherby recoil pad. The Length of Pull (LOP) measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad. The stock shows minor handling marks and small surface scratches but no cracks or chips. The checkering is sharp, and the finish rates in Very Good condition overall.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no visible erosion or pitting. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates a solid 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light thinning on the high edges, minor handling marks, and a few small scratches consistent with careful use. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good to Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning is recommended before use.
