Markings:  The left side of the receiver is marked “VSM03553 Volquartsen AL”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “Carroll. IA”.  The left side of the barrel is marked “17 HMR” with the Volquartsen logo. The bottom of the rotary magazine is marked “RUGER”.

Barrel Length: 17” Anodized with Carbon Fiber Sleeve. 18.5” with muzzle device held by crush washer.

Sights / Optics:  There is a picatinny rail atop the receiver for optics and sight options.

Stock Configuration & Condition:   The stock is a rubber overmolded Hogue Stock with cobblestone texture on the semi-pistol grip and forend, straight comb, 2 studs, and a rubber recoil buttpad.  Overall the stock rates in Very Good condition.  There are no chips or cracks.  There are some light handling marks.  The cobblestone texturing is crisp and well defined.  The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  One Ruger 9rd 10/22 Rotary Magazine in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light operation wear.  The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear.  The muzzle device has good amount of scratches and scuffs that also transfer over to the barrel. The picatinnies have some finish loss from a previously mounted optic.  Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.  It would rate in Excellent without factoring the scratches on the muzzle device and barrel.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
