Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with the Volquartsen logo and “17 HMR”. The left side of the receiver is marked “17-00853 Volquartsen”. The right side of the receiver is marked “Carroll, IA” and the bottom of the trigger guard is marked “VC”.

Sights / Optics: There are no previsions for iron sight on this rifle. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Leupold 3-9×33 Compact scope with a duplex reticle and clear picture. The scope is in excellent condition. There is a bipod mounted to the fron sling stud.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece Hogue textured black rubberized, pistol grip, fluted straight comb, Hogue buttpad. There are light scratches and scuff. There are no cracks, no chips, and no tears. The LOP is 13 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: There is NO magazine provided with this rifle.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In the opinion of the writer the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is minimal to no wear on this firearm. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
