Our Assessment: The Interarms Mark X is a bolt-action rifle that was produced in the 1970s and 1980s by the Alexandria, Virginia-based Interarms Company. It was a commercial version of the British military rifle, the Enfield Model 1917, which was used in World War I and World War II. The Mark X was chambered in a variety of calibers, this one being chambered in .30-338 Winchester.
The .30-338 Winchester is a high-powered cartridge that was designed for long-range shooting and hunting of big game animals such as elk, moose, and brown bear. The cartridge was developed by Winchester in the 1950s by necking down the .338 Winchester Magnum cartridge to accept .30 caliber bullets.
The Mark X had a Mauser-style action that was known for its durability and reliability. The action featured a controlled-feed mechanism that helped to ensure reliable feeding and extraction of cartridges.
Overall, this Interarms Mark X chambered in .30-338 Winchester Magnum is a high-performance rifle that is well-suited for long-range shooting and hunting of big game animals. Its heavy barrel design made it an accurate rifle, while its Mauser-style action provided reliable and consistent performance. Please see specs below and good luck!
