Markings: The revolver is marked with the serial number on the butt of the grip frame “L01120”. The left side of the barrel is marked “LARAMIE MODEL CAL38SP”. The right side of the barrel extension is marked “A. UBERTI ITALY”. The top of the grips display gold Beretta Medallions (as this revolver was manufactured by Uberti under Beretta’s branding and supervision.)
Barrel Length: 6.5″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a half-moon blade fixed to the barrel rib. The rear sight is an adjustable notch integral to the barrel catch assembly.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth walnut panels with a rich grain and attractive finish. The grips are stamped with a cursive “USB”. The grips exhibit minimal handling marks, and no chips or cracks are present. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no fouling or erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains approximately 98% of its original metal finish. The nickel finish shows minimal handling marks. There is a thin turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp and unmarred. Pins are clean, and markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this revolver rates an Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up tightly, and the extraction mechanism operates smoothly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Beretta Laramie is a single-action top-break revolver manufactured by Uberti in collaboration with Beretta USA. It is a modern reproduction of the Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3, originally introduced in 1878. It is chambered in .38 Special and features a 6.5-inch barrel, a 6-shot cylinder, and weighs 46 ounces. It is finished in nickel plating and has high-gloss Italian walnut grips adorned with gold-toned Beretta medallions.
