Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “DANIEL DEFENSE / BLACK CREEK, GA / U.S.A. / MODEL DD5/ CAL. MULTI / DD5020138”, “SAFE FIRE”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “SAFE FIRE”.  The dust cover is marked “DD”.  The left side of the upper is marked “DD5V5 6.5CM”.

Barrel Length: 20”. 22” with muzzle brake.

Sights / Optics:  The top of the rifle is an uninterrupted picatinny rail.  The rail is mounted with a Crimson Trace CTL-5324 3-24×56 5 Series Riflescope with Leupold Scope mount. The reticle is an FFP LR1-MIL-Reticle. The sight picture is clear.  The scope rates in Excellent condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a RAPS (Rapid Adjustable Precision Buttstock with adjustable cheek piece, adjustable LOP, 4 QD cups, and monopod picatinny rail.  The pistol grip is a Hogue Ergo Grip with palm swells, and palm shelf. The handguard is a 14” MLOK handguard with a picatinny mounted to the bottom of the hand guard.  The LOP measures 15 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad unextended. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.  There is no handling wear.  Has ambidextrous safety, charging handle, bolt release, and mag release.  The trigger is a Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced Trigger.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  One PMAG 30rd 5.56 magazine in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light visible operation wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear.  The case reflector has a minor spot of finish loss as well as around the rear of the ejection port.  There is a small scuff on the right side of the upper.  Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
