Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Burris Fullfield E1 6.5-20×50 scope, with the E1 reticle. The glass in the scope is clear. The scope shows light handling wear. Overall, the scope rates in Fine to Excellent condition. The scope is mounted directly to the integral picatinny bases by 1″ rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece textured laminate wood stock, with a semi-pistol grip, fluted monte carlo comb with cheekpiece, black rubber Decelerator buttpad, a wide forend with finger groove, and sling studs front and rear. The LOP measures 13 3/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock shows no notable wear. The texturing on the wrist is well defined. The stock’s finish is intact. The stock fits tightly to the barreled action, with no play. The barrel is free-floating all the way to the action. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear, with only a minor amount of operational wear and minor finish loss on the top of the bolt handle, and a couple of minor scratches on the bolt knob. Otherwise, the finish is intact throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: Thompson/Center’s Icon line was a premium bolt-action rifle series designed with accuracy-focused features, including integral Picatinny-style scope bases, 5R rifling, detachable magazine feeding, and solid factory bedding/stock design. The Precision Hunter variant leans further into varmint and target utility with its heavy fluted barrel and stable laminate stock. This rifle is chambered in .204 Ruger, a high-velocity, flat-shooting cartridge well suited for varmint hunting, predator work, and precision target shooting with light recoil. This example features a 22″ fluted heavy-contour barrel with 5R rifling and 1:12″ twist, textured laminate stock with wide forend, free-floating barrel, detachable 3-round magazine, and a Burris Fullfield E1 6.5-20×50 scope with clear glass. The .204 Ruger chambering, heavy 5R barrel, high-magnification Burris optic, and clean Precision Hunter configuration should appeal to varmint hunters and shooters looking for an accurate, well-equipped field or bench rifle.
This rifle rates in Fine to Excellent overall condition, retaining about 98% of its original blued finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion, rating 10/10 in this writer’s opinion. The laminate stock rates in Excellent condition, showing no notable wear, with intact finish, well-defined texturing, tight fit to the barreled action, free-floating barrel, and no chips or cracks. The metal shows only light handling wear, with minor operational wear and finish loss on top of the bolt handle and a couple minor scratches on the bolt knob, while the finish otherwise remains intact throughout. The Burris scope rates in Fine to Excellent condition with clear glass and light handling wear, the included 3-round factory magazine is Excellent, and the action and safety function correctly.
