Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “THOMPSON CENTER ARMS / ROCHESTER, N.H.”, “.22 / HORNET”.  The bottom sides of the receiver are marked with warnings.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed to a checkered ramped base screwed to the barrel and slotted for a hood (none present).  The rear sight is an invertible u/U folding sight, fine adjustable for elevation. The top of the chamber is mounted with a Weaver style rail.

Stock Configuration & Condition:   The stocks are two piece checkered walnut with semi-pistol grip, straight comb with cheek piece, TC orange rubber buttpad with black spacer, and checkered forend. The LOP measures about 13 1/8” and 14 1/8 from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks and only faint wear on the peaks. There are no chips or cracks. There are compressions on the bottom front of the forend and on the belly.  The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows faint operation wear. There are very minor scuffs on the sides of the receiver and the muzzle has some corrosion. The trigger guard has some scattered scratches.  Other than these blemishes, the rest of the blued finish is exceptionally clean and vibrant.  Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. There is a cross bolt “two action” safety at the front of the trigger guard.
