Sturm Ruger M77 Mark II .270 Win 22” Bolt-Action Hunting Rifle Paddle Stock
SOLD FOR: $1200
WOA#: WY230104OH001
Our Assessment: The Ruger M77 MARK II is a great hunting rifle because it was designed to be one. Most modern hunting rifles are designed to be cheap, under 1 MOA accuracy, and look good. After all, that’s what most anyone could ever want. The Ruger M77 doesn’t fit any of those categories. It wasn’t made to be popular for its dashing good looks or accessible price range. It was simply designed to hunt and hunt well without compromise. The boat paddle stock was quite literally a laughing stock. Most hunters swapped the Boat Paddle stock for something more sleek and traditional looking. However, a small niche actually found it to be a decent looking rifle and kept the original configuration with swappable grips and inserts. But regardless of how it was received, there is one undeniable fact about the M77 and more particularly the Mark II, it was an amazing hunting rifle and still performs among the best. If you are looking for marksman rifle on the thin edge of what is modern and vintage rifles, or are looking for that one of a kind companion to sling over your shoulder while on the hunt, this rifle is the perfect fit. Every great hunter has a great hunting rifle, so don’t miss out on this peculiar beauty! Good Luck!
