Markings: Left side of the barrel is marked “30-06 SPRG” with PR within an oval proof. The left side of the receiver is marked “711-95591 RUGER M77 HAWKEYE”. Barrel is marked “WARNING – BEFORE USING GUN READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM RUGER NEWPORT NH USA”. The floorplate is marked “RUGER” with the Ruger Logo. The buttpad has a Ruger Logo.
Barrel Length: 20”. 21” with muzzle brake.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade pinned to a ramped base. The rear sight is a v-notch dovetailed to a base atop the barrel. The top of the receiver is mounted with Ruger Scope rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is checkered laminate with traditional pistol grip, sling stud, hinged magazine floor plate, and rubber buttpad. Overall the stock rates in Excellent condition. The checkering is crisp and the peaks are mostly sharp. There are no chips or cracks. There is light handling wear. There are no chips or cracks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is minor erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear. There is minor corrosion in the muzzle brake. There is oxidation and light corrosion on the floor plate and barrel along with some scrapes on the outside of the barrel. The bottom of the trigger guard has some scuffs. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
