Our Assessment: The Steyr SSG 69 was designed and built to serve as the standard sniper rifle for the Austrian Army. It was designed to fire 7.62 x 51mm Nato ammunition. The SSG is known for being sub MOA. Aside from being Austria’s standard issue sniper rifle, it was used by several law enforcement agencies. The SSG 69 paired with the Kkahle scope makes the rifle a tack driver. This SSG 69 would be a great rifle for range shooting, hunting or an addition to any collection.-C.M.
