Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “STEYR SECAUCUS, NJ / 30-06 SPR.”. The left side if the receiver is marked “STEYR-MANNLICHER-M”. The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE IN AUSTRIA / 134008 / VII 81” with 2 proof marks. The right side of the barrel is marked with proof marks and “VII 81”.
Barrel Length: Approximately 20 Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hoodie blade dovetailed to a serrated ramp that is screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a “U” notch that is dovetailed to a block that is fixed to the barrel. There is an unmarked scope mounted to the top of the receiver with a duplex reticle and clear picture in fair condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The Mannlicher hardwood stock has a capped semi pistol grip, two sling loops under the stock, and a vented rubber buttpad. The stock shows scrapes, scratches and compression marks throughout. The LOP measures 14 inches from the front of the trigger and 13 ¼” from the front of the set trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is Sharp. There is little to no visible erosion in the bore. In the opinion of the writer the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows operational and handling wear. There is rust freckling on the scope rings. The scope and the top of the barrel show the most wear and scratches. The metal shows light scrapes and small scratches throughout. The screw heads are intact. The markings are deep and crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
