Our Assessment: The Steyr AUG A3 SA is a civilian version of the iconic Austrian bullpup rifle, designed for compactness and reliability. With a 16″ barrel, the AUG A3 SA offers a balance between portability and accuracy, making it ideal for tactical applications and close-to-mid-range shooting. The bullpup configuration allows for a full-length barrel in a shorter overall package, providing excellent maneuverability without sacrificing ballistic performance.
This model is fed by detachable translucent Steyr pattern Aug magazines. Mounted with a Trijicon ACOG 4×32 scope, featuring the red chevron reticle, this setup enhances the rifle’s effectiveness for precision shooting. The ACOG’s fixed 4x magnification is well-suited for mid-range engagements, offering crystal-clear optics and rapid target acquisition. The red chevron reticle is illuminated by fiber optics, making it visible in both daylight and low-light conditions without the need for batteries. This combination of the Steyr AUG A3 SA and the Trijicon ACOG 4×32 provides a reliable, highly effective platform for accurate shooting in a wide range of environments. So bid high and bid firm. I highly encourage you to take a look at the condition in our high quality photos. Good luck on your bid. -K.F.
