Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked, “789-54113 RUGER M77 MARK II” The barrel is marked, “308 WIN” with a warning label and the Ruger Southport address.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber blade dovetailed to a ramped base. The rear sight is an adjustable green fiber U-notch fixed to a barrel mounted base. There are two Ruger scope rings attached to the receiver with a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x with a BDC reticle. The scope is in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a single piece textured green & brown Boyds laminate thumbhole stock with a vented flat forend, two sling studs, thumb hole, straight comb W/ cheek piece, sling stud, and a rubber buttpad. There are light pressure dents and scratches throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The texturing is sharp. Overall the stock is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is some fouling in the compensator. The feed ramp is smooth. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are scattered handling marks throughout with some light spots of patina. The action has light wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
