Markings: Rear top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 123325”. The top of the barrel is marked, “NM.308”. The top of the bolt carrier group is marked “7790186-SA B00029”. The trigger housing is marked “7267030-OM-N”. The hammer is marked “C46008-3 SA”
Barrel Length: 22”, 24.25” with the California Legal Muzzle device.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a National Match front sight. The Rear Sight is a Match-Grade Aperture Sight with .0520 aperture, ½ MOA windage and elevation increments. This rifle has also had the stripper clip guide removed and has had the block for a Springfield Side mount scope rail installed.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is the traditional M14 Walnut stock with two sling swivels, semi pistol grip, straight comb, a 13.25 LOP, butt storage compartment and the hinged metal buttplate. The top handguard is brown composite. The upper handguard shows only minor storage and handling wear with some minor discoloration near the rear band. The stock shows minor handling wear and a few scattered surface lines and compressions. The nose of the stock has been drilled and a threaded plug for a sling swivel(so you can mount a Harris style bi-pod) has been added. There is a small series of punch marks on the left flank of the stock. The hinged metal butt plate shows a few surface marks, but has sharp checkering and retains its finish. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in about Very Good to Excellent condition

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some Very minor lead fouling on the lands. The feed ramps show very minor signs of use. The muzzle device has some Verdigris build up in the ports. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.75/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some finish loss from the friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver. There are some very minor surface marks from handling / use. The trigger guard shows some minor rust freckling. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in about Very Good + to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
