Markings:  Rear top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 349260”. The top of the barrel is marked, “NM .308 SS”. The top of the bolt carrier group is marked “7790186-SA F00289”.

Barrel Length: 22” Stainless.  25” with M14 classic long slotted flash suppressor.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a National Match 0.62 front sight.  The Rear Sight is a National Match “NM” marked Aperture Sight with .0520 aperture, ½ MOA windage and elevation increments.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is the traditional M14 Walnut stock with two sling swivels, semi pistol grip, straight comb, a 13.25 LOP, butt storage compartment and the hinged metal buttplate. The top handguard is brown composite. The stock shows scattered lines, compressions and marks. There is a notable series of lines on the left side about mid length at the receiver, the right side has another series of lines on the flank of the butt and near the heel. The toe of the butt also has some small marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in about Very Good to Very Good + condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes one 10 round magazine in Excellent Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny, the flash hider has no verdigris or carbon build up. The bolt face has a small amount of brass residue. If this rifle has been fired it has not been fired much. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: The rifle retains 99% of its metal finish. The action has some very minor wear on the friction surfaces. There are some very minor scattered discoloration marks that should be easy to clean off. The metal buttplate retains its finish with a small patch of surface rust in the checkering. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in Very Good + to Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
