Markings: Rear top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / 516962”. The OP Rod is marked “SOCOM 16 CQB”. The bolt is marked “7790186-SA / F00403”. The front sight is marked XS / H3”.
Barrel Length: 16.25”, 17.75 with with integrated muzzle brake
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon XS Sights Tritium insert blade with protective wings and the rear sight is a military enlarged Ghost Ring aperture sight. The top of the handguard has a forward scout picatinny rail for optic and sight options.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock on this rifle is the Archangel M1A Stock with AK-47 pattern pistol grip, collapsible stock with cheek riser and rubber buttpad, 5 QD sling cups, and forward M-LOK slots with small sections of picatinny rail at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. The LOP at full extension is 14.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock is in New In Box condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes 2 x 20 round and 2 x 10 round magazines all in Like New condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. This rifle appears to have only been test fired at the factory. However the bore shows erosion, and pitting scattered throughout the entire length of the bore. This is something this writer has never seen in a New rifle. This may be the result of a bad round at the factory or perhaps being stored without being cleaned. The bore may just need a thorough cleaning to remove the fouling and apparent corrosion. In this writer’s opinion the Bore rates 5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle is in New In Box condition with the obvious exception of the bore condition listed above.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes a total of 4 x magazines, cable lock with keys, manuals, paperwork, inspection and warning tags and Springfield Armory soft case.
