Sights / Optics: The National Match front sight on the M1A™ Scout Squad rifle features a 0.062″ crisp blade. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight. The rifle is also equipped with a 4″ picatinny rail for the mounting of optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock set features a brown synthetic upper handguard with a Walnut stock with two sling loops, semi pistol grip, and hinged metal butt plate with storage. The LOP measures 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate. There are no chips or cracks. The wood shows some very minor small surface level lines and a few very small compressions. The butt plate functions correctly and shows almost no signs of wear. Overall the stock set is in about Excellent-Excellent+ condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes one Springfield 10x round magazine and 5x 15 round Check Mate magazines all in Like New condition. 6 magazines total.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion. The muzzle device shows only very minor carbon fouling. The feed ramps show very minor copper marks and they are smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains 99% of its metal finish. The friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver show minor rub wear. The rest of the rifle shows only minor marks and handling. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall this rifle is in Excellent-Excellent+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
