Action Type: Semi-Automatic rifle fed by detachable magazines. The rifle has a FAUX non operable full auto selector.
Barrel Length: 22”, 25” with the classic flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a 0.062 National Match blade that has been painted white set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle includes two stock sets. The original stock is an M1A pattern walnut stock with sling loops, a 13.25” length of pull and a hinged butt plate with storage in the butt containing a cleaning kit. The wood shows minor lines and some small scattered compressions. The magazine well shows a scrape on the front right corner. There are no chips or cracks. The wood upper handguard shows minor handling and a few small compressions. The butt plate functions correctly and shows virtually no wear. Overall this stock set is in about Very Good+ condition.
The installed stock is an M14 pattern walnut stock with faux non operable full auto selector, two sling swivels and hinged metal butt plate with storage compartment. The wood shows minor handling with some very light lines and compressions. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in about Excellent condition. The fiber handguard shows some minor rub marks and handling. There is also a crack between the rear band and the receiver. The upper handguard is in Good+ condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes four total magazines. One 10 round, one 15 round and two 20 round magazines. The magazines are all in Very Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny showing minor copper fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver show very minor rub wear. The flash hider shows some very minor verdigris and carbon fouling. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall this rifle is in about Very Good+-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

As a semi-automatic civilian version of the U.S. military M14, the M1A maintains the traditional profile and performance of the original service rifle, offering a full-length configuration favored for accuracy and historical appeal.
This example includes both the original M1A pattern walnut stock with matching wood upper handguard, as well as an installed M14-style stock featuring a faux full-auto selector and black fiberglass upper handguard. It is accompanied by a total of four magazines, two 20-round, one 15-round, and one 10-round, along with an M1A combination tool, cleaning brush, and sectional cleaning rod stored in the butt trap of the M14-pattern stock. Overall, this rifle represents a versatile and well-equipped example, combining classic wood furniture with a more military-style configuration and a complete set of accessories.
