Markings: The muzzle device is a Dead Air KeyMicro brake. The top of the barrel is marked “5.56 NATO 1/7”. The button for the front and rear sights are marked “PRESS”. Both sides of the rear area under the picatinny rail have the Springfield Logo. The left side behind the magazine well is marked “HELLION / HS PRODUKT-MADE IN CROATIA”. The right side is marked “HELLION SPRINGFIELD ARMORY GENESEO, IL”. The metal inlay on the left side is marked “BBS24257”. The VFG is marked “MVG”. The Holosun red dot is marked “HS403B 2MOA LED #5002268472”.
Barrel Length: 16”, 18” with the Dead Air Micro brake.
Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver has a 14” section of picatinny rail for the mounting of optics and accessories. The rail also has integral flip up iron sights. The front sight is an adjustable post set inside a protective ring. The rear sight is an aperture sight with multiple settings for range. Currently mounted to the rail is a Holosun HS403B 2MOA LED #5002268472 red dot sight. The optic functions correctly and is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this rifle includes an M-LOK compatible forend with an attached Magpul VFG, a Springfield AR15 pattern pistol grip with storage, and an adjustable buttstock with a two position cheek riser and rubber buttpad. The LOP is 18.25” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad at full extension. The rifle also includes 6 total QD sling cups. The polymer portions of the rifle show some minor handling wear with some scattered scuffs most notably on the left flank above the trigger. Overall the polymer is in Very Good + to Excellent Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The rifle shows minimal handling wear and the front sling ring has developed some surface rust. The markings are clear, the screw heads are sharp, and the pins are clean. Overall this rifle is in Very Good + to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Fully Ambidextrous Controls.
