Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “V-16 LONG SLIDE / .45 SUPER.” The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” with the Springfield Armory crossed cannon logo. The right side of the barrel is marked “SA .45 AUTO / DANGER / EXHAUST PORTS / READ MANUAL.” The left side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD / GENESEO IL USA / N390622.” The top of the slide is marked “FJ BRAZIL.”
Barrel Length: 6” with Ported Muzzle
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black blade fixed to the slide. The rear sight is an adjustable target sight dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth black wood panels secured with two screws per side. The grip frame has a flat mainspring housing and an extended beavertail grip safety. There are no major defects in the grips, which rate in about excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal handling wear, with only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. The ports on the barrel are clean and free of major carbon buildup. Overall, this pistol rates in about excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
