Markings: The left side of the slide is marked, “SMITH & WESSON MADE IN USA MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS”. The left side of the frame is marked, “TAT1693 MODEL 645”. The right side of the frame and both grip panels are marked with the S&W Crest. The chamber is marked, “45 AUTO”. The bottom of both magazines are marked, “45 AUTO S&W”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp integral to the slide with orange bar insert. The rear sight is a rectangular open notch dovetailed to the slide with white outline around the notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered black plastic grip plates. The checkering is crisp and the peaks sharp with only very light handling marks. This pistol features square checkered trigger guard, ambidextrous safety/decocker and a stainless steel slide and frame. The backstrap and front strap are checkered. The grips rate in about Fine-Plus overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are minimal signs of handling. There are only faint light superficial scratches hardly notable at very close inspection.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are only a few light scratches on the frame and one more prominent scratch on the right side of the slide near the front sight. The screws are serviceable with strong slots, the pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in “”Fine” condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance and storage requirements. Magazine disconnect safety.
