Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned brass beaded square post. The rear sight is an adjustable square notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are S&W rubber overmolded cobblestone textured grips with S&W logo medallions. There are some light wear marks throughout. The texturing is strong with minimal wear. The grips rate in Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: Stainless steel.
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the Bore rates at a 9/10
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some light scratches throughout. The screw heads are sharp with strong slots. The markings are clear. The cylinder has a thin but visible turn line. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly with a very small amount of side-to-side play in lockup. This pistol has excellent lock up and an extremely crisp, smooth, trigger pull and action especially in single action. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
