Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Smith & Wesson.” The right side of the barrel is marked “.45 COLT CTG.” The right side of the frame bears the “Marcas Registradas” marking, and the left side of the frame is marked with the S&W monogram.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp with a red insert. The rear sight is a Micrometer Click adjustable square-notch sight.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are Goncalo Alves target stocks with Smith & Wesson medallions and a football cut. They show handling marks and a small gap at the butt where the panels meet. The checkering is sharp, and the color remains strong. Overall, the grips rate in about Very Good condition. The grips are not original to the weapon.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a light turn line on the cylinder and minor handling marks. The bold case coloring on the wide, knurled target hammer and wide, serrated target trigger remains vivid. The screw heads are sharp, the pins are clean, and the markings are crisp. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a zippered pouch labeled “Performance Center.” While the pouch is from Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center, this revolver itself is not a Performance Center model.
