Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The ejector spring is very smooth and strong. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This is Smith & Wesson’s model 25-5, a heavy barreled target revolver chambered in .45 ACP with a 6 inch barrel, adjustable sights, and Goncalo Alves target stocks. This one has some wear. It is in very good condition with about 95% of its metal finish, a great bore, and good mechanics, this gun seriously looks sharp. This will make a great addition to a Smith & Wesson or revolver collection and one the collectors won’t want to miss out on given its fine condition. Shooting this iconic piece would not be a bad thing. You will need some moon clips though. Please see our pictures, good luck and enjoy the auction.-K.F.
