Our Assessment: The S&W Model 624 was called the Target Stainless and was produced only from 1985-1988. They were produced with two kinds of trigger and two kinds of hammer – this one comes with the .500” target hammer and the .400” serrated trigger. Its Goncalo alves grips and nice condition should make it attractive to collectors or those looking for a traditional target pistol applications. -C.B.
