Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked, “PERFORMANCE CENTER” The right side of the barrel is marked, “.357 MAG V-8” The right side of the frame has the four line Marcas Registradas, and the left side of the frame has a S&W monogram logo. The grip frame is marked, “VCM0309” The crane cut and crane arm are marked, “VCM0309 / 627-6 / 053”
Barrel Length: 5” 5 ¾” with V-comp
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a square post dovetailed to the barrel rib. The rear sight is a micro adjustable square notch blade fixed to a mount set into the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two piece wood round butt smooth wood stocks. There are faint handling marks throughout. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition. There is a second set of smooth wood grips with finger grooves. There is minimal handling wear present. Overall the second set of grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates at a 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a few light handling marks and draglines. There is a crisp turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lockup produces very light side-to-side movement with the trigger depressed. The double-action is smooth and the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
