Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON.” The right side of the barrel is marked “S.W. 357 MAGNUM MODEL OF 1989.” The right side of the frame is marked with the Marcas Registradas. The left side of the frame is stamped with the S&W Monogram. The crane cut is marked “BEK323” over “627-0.” The serial number is marked on the butt.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red ramp blade. The rear sight is an adjustable micro-click square notch sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black cobblestone-textured Hogue Monogrips with combat-style finger grooves and Smith & Wesson medallions. The grips are in excellent condition, with minimal wear.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its original stainless finish. There are light burn marks and residue on the front of the cylinder, along with minor scuffs and handling marks. The markings are clear and well-defined.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up securely with minimal movement. The double-action trigger is smooth, and the single-action break is crisp. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
